QuickSign ('we', 'our', or 'us') provides digital signature and contract management services for merchants using the Shopify platform. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and processed when you install or use QuickSign in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

2. Information We Collect

When you install and use QuickSign, we collect certain information necessary to provide our services:

• Merchant Information: Your store domain, contact email, and session authentication tokens provided via Shopify OAuth.
• Order & Contract Information: Order IDs, document template contents, and contract statuses required to link digital signatures to specific store transactions.
• Customer Information: Information submitted by your customers during the contract signing process (such as customer name, email address, custom field data, and digital canvas signatures).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the QuickSign application functionality.
• Generate, process, and store digital contract agreements and compiled PDF files.
• Facilitate the double-signature approval workflow between merchants and customers.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and Shopify App Store policies.

4. Data Retention and GDPR Compliance

We strictly adhere to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) principles and mandatory Shopify data protection requirements:

• Customer Data Requests: Upon receiving a customer data request webhook from Shopify, we acknowledge and fulfill the request in accordance with applicable data privacy laws.
• Customer Redaction: When a customer requests data erasure, we anonymize personal details in all associated contract records.
• Shop Redaction: Within 48 hours of an application uninstallation, all store data, contract records, document templates, and active sessions are permanently erased from our databases.
• Standard 2-Year Retention: Contracts and associated files are actively stored in the cloud for a standard 2-year period (730 days) from creation, after which they are automatically purged for privacy protection.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption in transit, isolated edge execution environments, and secure database storage to protect your store and customer data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
